England and Canada use the "OU" version.
USA uses the "O" alone version.

Most in Amerika spell the word 'color'. You can find some states such as PA where the old English preferences are still used 'colour'. Both spellings are correct. If you are writing for Amerikan readers, ask the editor for the preferred spelling.

it depends on the language. french people use colour but most americans use color.
