They need us to take out the garbage, sometimes protect them & the house... add kids (of course) and doing things around the house here & there (like getting higher into the cabinets for plates, wine glasses, when company comes over)... earning a salary and bringing it home, negotiating with Car Dealers and salespeople and realtors (that don't respect women). Maybe getting mortgages. Caring for cars, is our job. Plumbing. Outside areas of the home, generally (storm drains don't clear their own leaves, in the Fall). Cable TV. Then, there's taking the Xmas decorations boxes 'down' and then, putting everything back after the holidays.. We walk people "out" of the house, and buy liquor.. carry bags from the car, to the car (fold the stroller, carry it in/out), and set things on a table for them to sift through & stack/put away... if you have a pool, it's not women who get the PH-balance right or fish for bugs, etc. We care for our parents, do the healthcare forms etc. -- and help the grandparents in/out of the car, steady their walking, drive people to the hospital. Plus, yelling at someone can keep you young... and we smell worse than they do, which makes women feel better about themselves, even without saying anything about it.
There's enough to keep us men, busy.

Doing some work on the car, putting the Christmas lights up and taking them down, getting the X-mas tree, being a father figure to my kids so my son doesn't grow up to be an angry lunatic knocking up girls left and right and so my daughter doesn't become one of the girls getting knocked up left and right. Taking care of most of the bills and finances. Just being a husband and a companion in life.

yes to fix my car, to do all of the fixing up jobs around the house, to take out the trash, to BBQ for me, to give me lots of laundry to do, to take away the remote control from me, to totally monopolize the TV on Saturday and Sunday, to have someone to cook and clean for,to baby when he has the bubonic plague and I only have the flu, and of course the obvious!

Leaving the toilet seat up, never changing an empty toilet roll, putting empty milk bottles back in the fridge, saying 'urgh' in answer to any question, leaving strange smelling wads of tissue by the PC...the list is endless! *smiles sweetly*

Seriously, in the mood I am in now, your life will not be worth living unless I finish this answer now.
Do not talk to me about men....unless you want to be castrated without painkillers.

To love eternally, to laugh with, to cry with, to share good and bad times, talk over hopes and dreams with and to cherish forever, some of the reason I love been with my hubby.
