Personally I thought Charles Kennedy was much better. At least he inspired the Party, regardless .

The biggest mistake the lib dems did was to get rid of charles Kennedy. Okay, he had a drink problem, but he was charismatic and the people liked him. I am sure many people voted for Tony Blair for the same reasons.

Charles Kennedy should be accepted back as leader. people relate to younger people i feel.

As soon as it was decided there would be no early general election it was a forgone conclusion that the Lib Dems would force him out. They have all come out saying it was Ming's choice and his alone. I do not believe this for one minute. I imagine they have been plotting against him behind his back from almost the day he became leader. It is a clear case of ageism and is disgusting. Since Blair was elected as Labour's leader the other parties think they have to have a young man in charge. Look at the Tories with Cameron-a very poor attempt to create the new Blair. Now the Lib Dems will probably go for Clegg and they will call him "dynamic" "energetic" and the like and he will make no difference whatsover.

I completely agree with you.O.K. Charles Kennedy had a problem with the booze, he was man enough and straight enough to face up to it and seek help. If the Lib Dems had a man of his calibre as leader, I would, more than likely vote for them. As it is Sir Menzies Campbell has been, to put it kindly, ineffectual. How the hell can he be serious if he wants to be known as Ming ? What a silly old duffer !!

it's a shame Lib Dem never get a chance, cos the other two are rubbish, but it's exactly that, that they'll probably never be in government, that leads me to say "indifferent".

plus that i dont know their policies.
