can you give us his age, it would make it easier. most schools have sites on the computer with each teacher listed with their email. my son only had homework 2 or 3 times in all of his school life. i have since found out that if they are add or adhd, you have to check the bookbag. if they don't see it then it isn't. if he has a desk and there are stacks on it, that is good, let him empty the bookbag onto it, so he can see the things that need done , they need to learn their own way. it is ok to let them fidget. they learn better that way.

for those that are saying just ask the kid - they don't always tell the truth!!!

Like homework on the computer, or physical work sheets? This question doesn't really make any sense, can you rephrase and tell us what kind of homework you are seeking and where should be located. Becuase, if you need help looking around his room for a worksheet this isn't gonna get it.

Does your school have edline? It is an online program for parents to keep track of their kid's schoolwork and progress. When it's updated correctly its very helpful. You can access each class if he's in middle or high school and get all his teachers emails.

So why don't you ask him and go through it with him? I hope that I have this all wrong because if you need to check when he is not looking, I would suggest that the completion or non completion of a piece of schoolwork is not the problem that ought to be uppermost in your mind!

Just go and talk to all of your son's teachers or you can ask the teachers at his school to send you updates by e-mail.
