We had sex Saturday night and Sunday morning. I started my period the same Sunday night; right on time. If I had gotten pregnant would it have stopped my period if it was going to come that evening anyway? Its been a little over 2 weeks...I have been pregnant before...I sure feel like it...but I have used storebought tests in the past and they have been very in accurate. No I can't go to the doctor to find out...just nervous wondering if its even possible.

The odds that you ovulate at the wrong time of your cycle are very low. However, if you read about peoples' experiences on sites like this - yes, you can get pregnant any time - it's just *extremely* rare.

if you were about to have your period and ovulated, I bet it wouldn't stop that period. Some women have gotten pregnant DURING their period. The human body can be weird at times.

I also doubt you could physically tell in less than a few weeks. it's probably your worrying doing it to yourself that makes you think you feel the symptoms.

Everyone asks these questions, and the answer always is:
-If you are fertile and had sex, you could get pregnant. (If it's at all possible that one of his sperm made it into your vagina, and you haven't had your tubes tied - it's NOT IMPOSSIBLE).
-if sex happened outside the "best time" of the month you are likely NOT pregnant.
-you can't tell right away. You have to wait.
-the first way to tell is to wait until your next period is overdue and take a home test.
-the second way to tell is to wait a few months and see what clothes don't fit.
-until you know, there's nothing you can do about it.

Good luck.

It's almost a guarantee that you didn't get pregnant from those two times that you mentioned. Women are NOT fertile right before their periods, unless there is something very wrong with their cycle. Every woman has a time between ovulation and their next period of about 12-16 days, regardless of cycle length. So, in order for you to get pregnant from sex right before your period, the sperm would have to live through to the next ovulation... which is very, very, very unlikely. Sperm can't surive more than 1-2 days unless there is the proper kind of cervical mucus to nourish them, and this is not present at the end or the very beginning of your cycle.

p.s, you are probably just now ovulating, which may feel like pregnancy symptoms for some women

You can't be pregnant because you just had your period at the same day so it doesn't happen like that! Some women can have unprotected sex 5 or 8 days before and after the period comes! so Good Luck!

Typically you are not fertile in the time right before your period starts, so it's doubtful you got pregnant. Try taking a home test after your period is over if you are still unsure.

There is a very, very small chance that you got pregnant and got your period. But as far as I know, the probability is extremely low.

I definitely agree with the majority. It's very unlikely that you are pregnant. The chances are just too slim.
