That's not always the case! You can still get your period, or what might be a lighter period when you are pregnant. I am a person who has "periods" for about 2-3 months into my pregnancies ( i have had 2 children). My OB told me that she has known women who have had somewhat of a period through out their entire pregnancy. So what i have to do to be certain is go in and have a blood test done. If you feel you might be pregnant even though you have had your next period you get a test done to be sure.

That is the standard rule, but not always true. Womens bodies are all different in many ways. I had my period for 2 months while I was pregnant. It was lighter than normal, but it lasted 5 days so I did not even know I was pregnant until I started getting morning sickness. ALWAYS best to check with your doctor, or at least take a test.

No that is not 100% certain. My mother-in-law had her period for most of her pregnancy for each of her children and she was also always told because of this that the pregnancy would be iffy at best but only one ended up being a miscarriage the other 3 were healthy babies.

It is very commen for a woman to have a very light or unusual period the first month of pregnancy.. and on the very rare occassion she may have her period a couple more times.

If you are concerned take a HPT

Most of the time it is correct. But there is a very little chance that the woman might be pregnant. The chance Is very slim, but still can happen.

Sometimes women still have one more period, usually it is light. However sperm can live for 72 hours in the body so be careful.
