I am American. And after the war and our stupid f*cking president...I am ashamed to admit that I am American.

My question is for anyone living in another country.
Why do you assume all Americans are the same?
Why do you assume that all of us want this war?
Why do you assume that we think its right to kill thousands of children for PEACE???
It makes no sense.
(I know not ALL of you do this, but can you at least tell me why OTHERS do this?)

There is an old saying...Bombing for peace is like f*cking for virginity.
This war is wrong.
Our president is a idiot. He has ruined this country of any good reputation it could have possibly had.

And that is not a opinion.

You got many answers obviously
and only your sincere confession
keeps me from bashing your question.

I have got no problems with Americans.

Spammers are international, USA ranking 5th,
just besides regarding the Y!A trolls without life.

You do not have to be ashamed for them either.
As a responsible adult citizen it is ok to feel responsible.

USA is one of a few countries behaving entirely irresponsible.
Granted. Nuclear proliferation, 4th-world environmental league,
breaking contracts at will, as well courtesies and human rights.
A greedy gang of dilettants tries to make money despite lacking
performance ("Osama who ??") at all costs, so to speak. that is
YOUR money, resources once used to define the world leader.

No one needs tax cuts, why not make sense by urging Cheney's
friends to PAYING taxes, let's say for a year or so with no tricks
and pay honest work honestly, so he can't make even more cash
by employing mexicans & chinese (no us-taylor cuts it without).

An outdated industry cries permanently for fresh subsidy diapers
from the gov still leading to result that Americans are fired - even
a permanent war can't secure the inflated Californian gunsmith.

Oh USA leads yet,
but only at espionage, sabotage & destruction. More of space
exploration, not before the Chinese pee at your heads. Must this
German Olehippie tell you that you just have to PICK up all the
treasures out there ? Space mining on the moon could go on
since decades, metallurgy and mineralogy in zerograv might
have even made a leap needed to solve actual energy problems.

Heck why did my parents insist that I get an American education
when now I (ya I no - adolph's nephew, blahblah - learn spelling)
have to remind you of what American spirit is about. Not ducking
to rogues in (royal or not) office. Pioneer mind, freedom - DAMN.

Shortly - do not get morbid. I met in the backwoods of Wyoming
people with more political gripe than around German beer barrels
as in "world's capital" New York the type who pays 12 bucks for
a haircut - 2 for each side. 50% are always uhm very average :D
in every country. Keep up perspectives and do not thin too much.

You'll not made responsible for all 50 millions there dying stupid. :)

we have not any undertaking with Mexicans. 1000's of 1000's come to u.s. to artwork and stay and spend, advance infants, pay taxes and stay the "American Dream". we've a undertaking with everyone that comes into the rustic illegally. It basically so occurs they circulate from Mexico. If we bordered Somalia or another 0.33 international u . s . a . we would nevertheless have the comparable subjects.

You want the truth? You can't handle the truth.

Living in the US you have absolutely know idea what is really going on in this world. You are sheltered from the dally carnage that occurs thorough this world. You will never know the real reason this war was started because your government won't tell you. Because you don't want to know. Years from now I hope Iraq will be a peaceful nation that thrives on Democracy. for now.... Iraq is standing up and fighting for its freedom. Don't look to the past look to the future.

If you're going to base your judgment of the President on the war in Iraq, you better expand it to included all those in Congress who voted to give him authorization for military action along with all those "newbies" who ran for and won offices based on a pledge to end the war but have yet to do so.

This country is the best on the face of the earth, your ability to criticize our leaders openly is only the tip of the iceberg of the reason why.

Your problem, as I see it, is that you are reaching out...trying to understand the actions of those who would much rather kill you than give you an answer to your question.

My other problem with Americans like you is the assumption that others in the world think like we do or even care to. We live a pretty sheltered life in this country where even the majority of our poor live in better conditions than entire nations.

Regardless, you have the right to your opinion and ignore the idiots telling you to leave the country, because they don't appreciate our freedoms either.

Let me be very frank with you. Apart from a large section of Muslims and few others, no body thinks the way you make it out. I am aware of this because I am not an American.
Though you have every right to say any thing you want to, I somehow do not subscribe to the language you use for your president.

Don't let the lame posters get to you. Since you ARE an American, you have the right to state your opinions. How American is it to suggest that you leave this country if you speak the truth? That's like the liberals telling the cons to leave because they don't agree with them.
