because i have nothing else in the house and need to light birthday candles. I mean if its dangerous i wont do it, but i just wanted to know if its possible

NO !!! if you put the candle near the burner candle wax will melt all over the burner.Twist a small piece of paper very tightly into a candle shape or roll. Light the paper then the candle.

Id say yes its possible but I dont think it would be very smart, use safety matches

yes, you can. just touch the wick onto the electric element and it will light up.
