Personally I prefer the Ace Hardware store brand with scotch guard in it. I had to repaint after my toddler got a hold of a sharpie marker. Now, if he finds one, no matter where I hide them, I swear he can sniff those things out, it washes right off. Also is great for anything sticky that gets splattered behind the stovetop. There is nothing that will not wash off. It is the God of all paints.

Let me go "Ask Sherwin Williams"...
like the little theme song says for Sherwin Williams. I'm gonna go with Sherwin because where i live, the Sherwin Williams building has a crazy, trippy *** sun painted on the front of the building. it's so cool. and its been there forever, so i'd definitely say Sherwin.

Sherwin Williams. I painted my bachelorette pad and my new house with their product. You have to pay a little more, but I think they're worth it.

Depends what application and type of coating you want or require.
You need to ask both what are the pro's and con's including guarantees or warranty.
There is many more than those two companies to choose from.
