If it isn't a counterfeit it is a misprint. Is there anyway you can email me a scan of it? I'd pay you a good amount for it depending on its condition.

It might be, but it sounds counterfeit. A good way to check is to see if there are blue and red threads on the bill and if it has the imbedded stripe with "FIVE" printed on it by holding it up to the light.

At least it's not a 50.

It might be a misprint, in which case it might be worth a premium to a coin and bill collector.
