These are not scratches.I used theliqued scratch free comet and the brillo pads do not scratch glass shower doors,it wouldn'y even scratch off the mineral spots.

If BAM and CLR didnt work, I dont know what to tell you...

But I can tell you that a thin layer of WD-40 will prevent it from coming back, once you get it off! Good luck!

After using all those scratching pads...I doubt you will get it back to shinny again. I have used those razor blades in a scraper to get off the heavy film....but I think you may be past that already.

Here is one trick to make them look better if the water spots still remain after you have cleaned them with everything under the sun. Put some lemon oil or Pledge on a rag and wipe down the glass. The oil hides the scratches. Make sure if you are using the spray can in shower to cover the shower floor with an old towel to protect it from over spray. Then make sure nothing (oil) is on the floor when you have finished. Oily floor will make it very dangerous for the hubby....and / or you.

Don't use too much oil...just enough to hide the scratches.

When you used the Comet, you may have scratched the glass. I'm surprised the CLR didn't work. Then again, you have to soak that stuff in for quite a while (it's not that effective if you just spray it on and wipe it off).

If it's not textured glass, you might try a razor blade to scrape it off. Hold a blade (like the kind that goes into razor knives) at a very flat angle and scrape the stuff off the glass. Otherwise, you might just have to have the door replaced.

I use Lime Away. With plenty of ventilation spray on Lime Away starting at bottom of door and working up.Use paper towel to wipe over door and keep product on glass for a few minutes. Rinse and dry! Heavy buildup may take longer. Over-spray on other surfaces should be wiped off immediately. Read all instructions on bottle.

I use muratic acid. (pool and concrete cleaner) Use the extra heavy duty rubber gloves and lots of ventilation.Carefully pour it on a green scrubby and gently wipe the area. Flush with cool water. Do not splash this anywhere you don't want it, it is acid.

I use scrubbinh bubbles and a black and decker power scrubber thing. It worked for the roomates bathroom, which I'm sure he NEVER cleaned in the 8 months he lived here.
