The name wasn't mentioned on the forecast. The reference was "a woman rang the BBC and said she had heard that there was a hurricane on the way. Well if you are watching, don't worry there isn't.".

Maybe we'll never know who she was but on that day at least, she provided a better forecast than Micheal Fish.

No one, except perhaps for Mr. Fish know for sure. He maintains that when he told viewers not to worry about a hurricane on the way, he was talking to this woman who was traveling to Florida and he was assuring her that there was no hurricane headed there.
