go along to curries,comet and lastly PC world,tell them what you want it for,for example if your going to use the internet,get one with a built in modem,and look for one with all the software supplied,some have it built in,some you have to load yourself when you get home,ask them to show how to use it,and make sure they throw in antivirus package for free,you might consider getting a three in one printer copier scanner at the same time,dont be talked into costly warranties,there not worth it
