It's all over the news, rice trying to talk the two sides into talks here in the US. It will cost us Tax payers a horrendous amount of money, but can it lead to anything, without at least an idea of a plan, what to achieve? Or is it a much needed publicity stunt? What's your draw?

There's been talk of a Palestinian state numerous times in recent years and every time it's been said I have been skeptical. However, lately, there have reportedly been talks of handing over half of Jerusalem to the Palestinians, and it doesn't appear to be mere speculation. A meeting IN the USA with the two sides doesn't happen for no reason.

Well -- if she is acting as mediator -- then she probably doesn't need an agenda, other than trying to help.

The two sides already have their own agendas and goals. A mediator just helps them reach a compromise -- and from the US perspective -- reaching any compromise that involves less gunfire would be a good thing.
