I have used a Verizon plan for a year now and had a phone bought from them, one of those Razor thingies. Recently it was destroyed. I have a couple of motorola phones laying around from when I used to use T-Mobile and another plan- will those phones work to activate with my Verizon plan?
I know I can call Verizon and have them connect a phone to my plan. But I am unfamiliar with what phones will work with a certain plan. Anyone who has an idea would be of great help!

No, you need a phone will work specifically with Verizon. You can call Verizon and whine and they will probably offer to extend your contract for another 2 years in exchange for a new phone.

Else you can buy one on Ebay.

As everyone has pointed out you can only use a Verizon phone. You can get one from a Verison distributor or try 2 other sources: Ebay or Amazon. com. Both have used phones available. You then would have to pay to have them activated.

Verizon uses CDMA phones and phones from T-Mobile a ATT are GSM.

You need a phone made for Verizon. Do not waste your time or money otherwise.

as a verizon instantaneous revenues rep, i might propose jus putting up the money for a sparkling telephone. (basically through fact it comes with a guarantee and you be attentive to if there is any subject with them verizon will guard it) if no longer, we do grant a "fru" telephone. in actuality is a substitute telephone for $ninety they are refurbish(which skill there replaced right into a topic while they synthetic the telephone yet went decrease back and glued it yet cant sell them new) attempt to stay far off from used telephone through fact lots of the time they pass undesirable and you're interior the comparable challenge! sturdy luck
