That depends on your values. The reality is that there is no such thing as better or worse, it's just a point of view. If there were no people you would not have any one to judge and the world would just be the world without better or worse.

The planet would be far healthier with no man-made pollution, roads, crowding.radio and mechanical noise. Global climate change probably wouldn't be happening so fast, either. Hundreds of species wouldn't be extinct. I'm sure it was man that wiped out the mastodon and sabre-toothed cat. A whole book could be written, I'm sure!

what would be the point of that. It'd be better, but we wouldnt be around to enjoy it. Maybe it'd be better if we got rid of all the rotten apples ruining it for the rest of us.
