My world started when I first opened my eyes. Anything that happened prior to this was someone elses world and not my own.

I imagine your world began much the same way.

The colliding of meteors, comets, and other solid matter within space. Scientists have theorized that the collision of meteors (made up of water, rock, and metals) along with the collection of dust circulating in space accumulated and formed the Earth. That is how many of the satellites (such as the Moon) are thought to be formed as well. The metal from the meteors made up the Inner and Outer Core (Inner-Solid Iron and Outer-Molten Iron) of the Earth. Water was received from the comets, which are characteristically known for carrying ice on them. For more information, do a search engine on the formation of planets. This is what I was taught in college and is not a reflection of my religious beliefs.

According to science (many of the answerers have, sadly, apparently forgotten this is a SCIENCE category, not RELIGION) the leading theory is that the world was formed out of a protoplanetary disk, which was essentially matter left over after the sun came to life. The material coalesced over the eons and eventually grew into a planet.

Genesis 1:1 "God created the heavens and the earth" and i believe it 100% there is so much evedence pointing to God being the creator of the earth. believe and have faith. He loves us, and that's why He made us. even though He knew we were going to kill His Son on the cross. well, i'm not gong to preach to you. :p but God did create the world and everything in/on it. (ex nihilio) meaning "out of nothing" :) well, good luck with everything. and God bless!! :D
