i had sex about 10 days ago and i should be getting my next period in about 5 days.. and i just wanted to know IF i could be pregnant even if i got my next period. Would you necessarily miss your next period?

You had sex at the time in your cycle that you would most likely ovulate, and therefor have the optimum chance of being pregnant. If you are, you will miss your period.
Some women have what is called "implantation bleeding" when they are pregnant. This happens because about 2 weeks after conception, the fertilized egg buries itself into the uterus wall, and sometimes this process results in a bit of bleeding. It is sometimes tricky, because it happens when the woman is expecting her period, but they appear to have a strange, light period.
So if you are pregnant, you will not have a period, but could possibly have implantation bleeding.

Most women miss their periods, and that's how they know they are pregnant. It is also possible to have implantation bleeding which occurs when the fertilized egg implants into your uterus and this can be very similar to a light period. If you are at all unsure then take an early response pregnancy test or wait and see if you do indeed even get your period. Implantation bleeding is not always present. I've been pregnant 3 times and I've never experienced it. Good luck!

2 weeks before your period is exactly the best time to get pregnant. Why, oh, why have you had sex many times without a condom? Or you being on birth control? It sounds like you are trying to get pregnant. If you don't know about our own body, and the menstrual cycle, you shouldn't be having sex. Why would your boyfriend risk pregnancy? You need to ask yourself this. Then ask him. No one is ignorant of the fact that unprotected sex causes pregnancy!

It may be abnormal, lighter or missed at all. BUT even if you get a regular period this may mean nothing and you should still get a test done. There are very slim chances that you can have a period anyways. Not all people ovulate at normal times ( I know this personally).

Having sex about 2 weeks before your period is the best time to get pregnant, so you better be prepared.

Yes, you would miss this period, and you had sex at a very likely time for ovulation to occur so hopefully you are trying for a baby. If your period arrives it is VERY unlikely that you conceived.

2 weeks before your period is when you should be ovulating, then no, you would not be getting your period. That is usually the first indication of pregnancy for most women.
