Well how about taking a trip to "The Creation Museum". It is a 60,000 square foot museum in the United States designed to promote young Earth creationism. The museum presents an account of the origins of the universe, life, mankind, and man's early history according to a literal reading of the book of Genesis. Its exhibits reject evolution and assert that the earth and all of its life forms were created in 6 days just 6000 years ago and that man and dinosaurs once coexisted. These views disagree with well in excess of 99% of the scientists in relevant fields. Also, the museum exhibits are at odds with the vast majority of scientists who accept that the Earth is approximately 4.5 billion years old, and that the dinosaurs became extinct 65.5 million years before human beings arose.
It's like going to church on Sunday, however, instead of singing and praying to the Lord, you learn about creation of mankind through the Book of Genesis in a museum...I have nothing against Christianity but this is just going a bit too far. My bf got a copy of the Bible and he believes in God and even he though this was a bit ridiculous. I truly believe that both science and religion go hand in hand. The only difference between these two institutions is that they are looking for the “true answers of the universe and mankind” through different perspectives. They should both embrace each other's teachings, knowledge and school of thoughts by working together to discover the unknown of the universe and the origin of humankind that has puzzled human civilization for centuries.

Evidence of dinosaurs works into the creation story rather nicely, actually. The problem comes from a misunderstanding of the use of the word "day." Keep in mind, Genesis was not written in English; it had to be translated and not all the words translate perfectly. In the original text, the word that gets translated as day is much more vague than the American English definition of "day." It could mean a single 24 hour period, or it could mean a general period of time (and age, as we might call it), much in the same way that "The Dark Age" doesn't refer to a specific unit of time but rather a period in history.
Add to that the creation story, though written by Moses, is told primarily from God's perspective (and it is established that "a thousand years is like a day and a day is like a thousand years" to God). Thus, there is ambiguity atop ambiguity. Not only does the term that we translate as "day" potentially mean "age" but the being that is reporting this does not have the same sense of time as humans do.
Thus, dinosaurs (and evolution) fit in with the creation story without much of a problem. The creation story doesn't address dinosaurs, true, but neither does it discount their existence (or the existence of fossils, or a multi-billion year age of the universe). It is only when an individual holds a fanatical claim to the English translation (while ignoring the original) that a problem arises.
Keep in mind that some of humanity's finest minds have addressed the veracity of the bible and sided with God (as it were), including figures like C.S. Lewis, Copernicus, and Francis Collins (leading figure of the Human Genome Project). It is possible to look at the evidence and conclude that religion is incorrect, but such an analysis is never as simplistic as stating that dinosaur fossils contradict the bible..

First, the theory of evolution does not stand up to testing. There are gaping holes in the record, the skulls found that fit the evolution of man have been found by scientist who were found to be corrupt. Some scientist glued skulls together! Look at the record, look at carbon dating and how off or wrong it can be. Do your research on evolution and look for yourself. Also Dinosaurs may be mentioned in the Bible, Job chapter 40:15-19 describe what many think to be a dinosaur. Now scientist are trying to convince us that birds came from dinosaurs. That a small dinosaur that was so fast that over millions of years turned his scales to feathers! guess I better start watching those crows in my backyard.

you have two options:
1. If you believe the bible is literally true, than you must learn to tune out everything that doesn't fit. You may stick your fingers in your ears and say "lalallallaIcan'thearyou," or else disconnect yourself from numerous fields of science: paleontology, geology, biology, cosmology, astronomy, chemistry, physics and many others. If you are honest and principled, you should thus also remove all science-derived technology from your life.
2. You conclude that the authors of an ancient book no doubt had their reasons and motivations, but regardless of how holy or divinely inspired those authors may have been, the bible does not actually correspond to the physical universe. One can still chose to find spiritual truths in such a text if one chooses to, but one no longer mistakes the book for emperic fact.

The Bible is filled with errors, as I could see at age 7. I was fascinated by dinosaurs then, and my books about them made me see the Bible was nonsense. Moses is said to be the author of the first 5 books of the Bible, and he was an ignorant shepherd who had not a clue of the planet's true history. If some wise god existed and really spoke in the Bible, he would know all about dinosaurs.

It means that either god didn't know we would advance so much and oversimplified how creation was done or that the bible has a major mistake and is not infallible or that god was intentionally misleading. There are probably other possibilities but all in all any way you look at it, it does not look good.

iv'e got one for you, if as the first law of thermodynamics states that energy cannot increase outside of an external force and thus, everything goes from order to disorder, then why would a chance explosion like the "big bang" result in an orderly and "evolutionary" planet like the earth.
And, where did the original energy and matter come from? Was it just there? For no reason...just....there....lol
