I don't have a dishwasher. And it seems everytime I leave my husband home alone on the weekends I come home to a sink overflowing with dirty dishes. As soon as my kids take a nap instead of relaxing I get to wash dishes.

Yes, my husband has forgotten how to do the dishes, and I don't usually feel like doing them at 10 at night after I have worked all day, come home and made dinner until 8, then ate and still have to do the dishes? Blech..... Need I go on.....?

I'm already there. The first load of dishes is in. There's going to be one or two more today before I'm done. (We cook all weekend and Monday is always "dishes" day.)

When you know you'll be short of time and energy just use paper plates. Especially if you do not have a dishwasher. Why does everybody else assume you have one? Silver spoons, I guess.

No. I hide all the dirty dishes in the dishwasher until there's a full load. I do have an indoor grill to scrub, and I'm out of Brillo pads. Thanks for reminding me.

It is a lousy thing to look forward to, that is for sure.
I started using those disposable aluminum knockoffs you buy at the dollar store. More time for fun and no regrets............just throw them out and enjoy some free time and have fun.

I'd better not! When I left this morning there was one spoon and a glass in there...guess it depends on if my daughter cleans her room this afternoon!

Nope. Put 'em in the dishwasher when you're done with 'em, empty the dishwasher when it needs to be emptied, and there's never any problem.
