Hi Sam, you said you have just enrolled so I am assuming you haven't received your course materials yet? If this si the case then there is still time to cancel.
If not, then don't worry as this could well end up being very valuable to you, in this modern life we all live in no one has time to plan a wedding that is why they pay for wedding planners to take all the stress off of them, however alot of wedding planners are very over priced when you have completed your course as long as you keep your prices at a reasonable standard the customers will come flooding in. When I say reasonable I mean enough to make you a healthy profit but not so much that it will empty a customers bank account. Although starting out in a new business can be a bit difficult if your heart is truly in it then you will succeed, you just need to make sure you advertise in all the right places. Also when you have done a couple of weddings you could make a porfolio for other propsective customers to see with pictures of how you designed the venue layout etc. It would also be very beneficial to you if when you actually start the business if you introduce yourself to some local companies including caterers, bands/DJ's, florists, cake makers etc and once you have established good business relationship and maybe once you start using them for people weddings, they will refer customers to you.
I hope this has helped you. Good Luck with whatever you choose to do.

Better would be a degree in Business Studies (or Marketing etc) .. also I would suggest you take Evening Classes in written English.
