Just A Rumour For Now.
It was reported in august that Roman Abramovich had held talks with the Brazilian's brother and advisor Roberto de Assis Moreira in London.
Barcelona's sporting director Txiki Berguiristain has categorically denied that Ronaldinho is for sale but says he understands other clubs wanting to sign the player.
Berguiristain told Catalunya Radio: "We do not want to sell him. Ronaldinho is our player and I am totally convinced that he will remain at the club.
"In this aspect the decision of Barcelona is clear.
"It is normal that any of the big clubs in the world desires Ronaldinho, but he has signed a deal with us," he added.
Ronaldinho is believed to have an £85 million buy-out clause in his contract and while the sum is enough to intimidate most clubs Abramovich has the spending power to meet the asking price if he desires.

I think unfortunately he would go the offer is for 75 millions and Ronaldihno is not comfortable in Barcelona he think he is not preciated I think yes he would go to Chelsea but not for that amount of money I think they should or will offer a lot more because Chelsea is right now the richest soccer club in the world and now Chelsea is the Real Madrid of England the only difference is that they actually win titles when Ronaldihno goes to England there will be more expectative than Beckham´s arrive to the Galaxy Barca will suffer a lot without Ronaldihno and Chelsea will enjoy the presence on the field of the best soccer player in the world

it may be true, but i don't think EPL is the best place for him. EPL is too rough for his style of play. EPL defenders go for legs first, then the ball. he would be on injured list more often than playing on the field.
with messi getting more experience, barce can afford to sell ronaldinho. while barce is interested in the money from chelsea, ronaldinho himself might not want to play in EPL.

no i think its true...i hear that rijkaard and barca is getting tired of him not being in form as of late so chelsea is being linked with the transfer...theyve been going after ronaldinho since last season so it should happen sooner or later...

Very possible as he's been progressively outclassed in Barca....and in Chelsea, in the land of the blind a one eye jack will be KING....why not after all it'll be his last stint before retiring and he might as well make hay while the sun shines....with the carrot of more $$$$

Barca won't miss him like they would've two years ago. I wouldn't buy him though, I'd try to secure Messi or David Villa before I went with the Brazilian.
On that note I also read somewhere that they were considering Kaka also.

the blues would be better off buying messi..don't get me wrong ronaldinho is a truly great player but he is getting on now and messi is the future.
