I feel as confadint as I ever have, considering the tribe are pitting Wesbrook on the mound the pitcher who lost them there only game of the ALCS, I think it will be another high scoing game, I think the Final Score will be 9-6 sox.

Boston paid big bucks to get relief pitcher Eric Gagne to Beantown and let's face it he blew it, yet again, on Saturday night. Can the beaners battle back after losing home field advantage to the upstart tribe? They'll have to if they want a shot at a second World Series title in four years.
Tonight's game in Cleveland runs at 7 p.m. EST and sees Japanese odd-baller Daisuke "Dice-K" Matsuzaka (0-0) face Jake Westbrook (0-1). Neither pitcher has played all that well in the post season, with ERAs of 5.79 and 10.80 respectively.
Boston is favored to win (-123) despite the fact the Indians only lost 29 times at home all season. The Over/ Under sits at just 10 despite there being two inexperienced postseason pitchers on the mound and the fact that the teams combined for a whopping 32 runs in the first two games.
The last game at Jacobs Field was more like the apocalypse than a ball game, with a swarm of insects surround the stadium, rattling New York Yankees ace Joba Chamberlain, and laying the way for a come from behind Indians win in Game 2 of the ALDS.

Not a lot of confidence in Dice-K. My prediction: he's out by the 4th inning, but the Sox rally to win the game.

Neither Westbrook nor Matsuzaka will get out of the 5th inning. The bullpens will be put to the test. If Theo has any sense, Gagne got airfare to somewhere other than Cleveland.

Punish Westbrook? This Dice K is going to get punished. Indians hitters will set on his pitches and wait for the inevitable mistakes thhat HE WILL IN FACT MAKE. Westbrook goes 6 innings and hands it to the pen-it's lights out. I look for Indians hitters to unload on this overrated and overpriced bust. Your bullpen was exposed as well Boston...if it goes to the bullpen-Cleveland has the edge.

I think the Indians will face the same challenges against Dice-K much like they faced again NY's Wang.

to answer honestly, im a tribe fan..im not crazy about both of the starters. that being said. if we get to redsox bullpen then i think we win....on the other hand if redsox get to westbrook we are in trouble, unless eric wedge pulls him before to much damage is done... tribe should pull 2 of next 3 games...

Well, after last game I would hope that our pitching makes a huge comeback, and we can hold on to a lead. Pitching has been the key to our success this year, and if we can not stop the Indians bats, we are screwed. I am nervous, but I have faith in the team. We did not come this far to lose.
