I have read some of the questions on here about removing fruitflies at the home but what about the workplace?

I work at a 24/7 convienance store and there is baked pastries and sandwiches being made daily. I know the flies are not that harmful but they are still disgusting.

What are some good ways of removing this infestation without using poisons and so the employees can work around it?

Innovative ideas are welcome!

BTW there is no counter space or any real space at all and the flies like to gather around the soap dispenser!?

I read an answer to a similar question on here a couple of weeks ago.

Pour a little apple cider vinegar in a cup and put in a couple of drops of dish detergent. Don't mix it up just put the drops in.

I tried this at my house and it works like a charm.

Place a small container with water, vinegar and some dish soap in it near the area of the soap dispenser. It will attract the fruitflies and they will drown.

the water with soap will work, it is equally effective with water with a small amount of oil(vegetable)etc.
Then get rid of the garbage in the can more frequently, 2 times a day or more if needed, , if it is in a confined room- there are some dry fogger sprays that may work, follow instructions to the letter to keep from any ill effects.
