No you should not be "worried" - as worrying serves no purpose.

I think maybe your question is "What can I do to make sure my friend is okay?"

And - if that IS your question - then all you can do is ask her. Check in with her. Preface your conversation with a statement about how much you care about her -and then let her know that you are concerned and why. That's just about all you can control. Yourself and your actions. You cannot control her. If she wants your help - or somebody to listen - you can offer it. Otherwise - you can't do anything to control her. All you can do is offer your friendship. It's her choice if she wants to take it or not.

The first problem is your friend has a mother who is stupid enough to let the boyfriend live there. Why?

Your friend's mother doesn't have very good rules, so doing drugs is not surprising.

Your friend might just get hurt, hon, i don't know. you can let her know you feel she's careless with her life and you are concerned. That is the best you can do.

Worry about YOU....

I would be worried, but ask yourself "what CAN I do?" You can tell her all you want that you are worried but she is choosing to live her life this way. Support her as much as you can but if she does not listen then you are just going to have to walk away.

Talk to your friend and try to get her to remove herself from that situation or seek some in patient treatment.
