I'm looking for a very old movie about 2 lions. The movie is based on 2 real lions that are now housed in the Smithsonion Institute. Michael Douglas was in the movie and the last time my husband seen the movie it was on VCR tape. In the movie Michael Douglas hunts the lions in India and the plot of the movie was about building a bridge..... I sure hope someone knows the name of the movie I'm trying to find. Thank you.

"The Ghost and the Darkness" from 1996. (Michael Douglas, Val Kilmer). The only "very old" movie I can think of doesnt have Michael Douglas in it...its called "Born Free" ? But I dont think thats the one you are talking about. So i'm going to stick with "The Ghost and the Darkness" .

I believe it is "Ghost and the Darkness" it also stars Val Kilmer. Based on a true story about two lions terrorizing and killing humans for the fun of it.
Its a very good movie but extremely gross in some parts.
