Why did the Ancient Chinese Young Girls torture themselves in terms of foot binding? What started this tradition? Was this somekind of a partial sacrifice to Buddha?

You sacrifice nothing to Buddha. You should read up on Buddhism if you believe they worship Buddha.

The practice isn't so ancient. There are women living today who have the physical deformities caused by foot binding.

Basically it boils down to the perception of the feminine ideal and the role of women. Basically it was considered sexy to have tiny feet. Additionally it was a bit of a status thing since women with bound feet can hardly walk, much less work it was like saying "look at me, I am rich enough that the women of my house don't have to work".

It was thought that tiny feet were a sign of beauty. It was done by the family to make the woman more attractive to a potential suitor (who could provide money for her family). The bindings would misshape the bones and cause the feet to look smaller.

Oh the pressure on females to be beautiful is timeless I guess?? Thank god we don't bind our feet or torture ourselves like that now ... heck.. we are so civilized today.
Now where is that plastic surgeons number? It's time for a face lift with the friendly scalpel... a little liposuction for that trouble area, and I was thinking my waist would be a little littler if I had a few ribs removed??

Silly you. The men made them and Buddha does not involve sacrifice of anything except stupidity.

How about bolemia and anorexia and cosmetic surgery and risking personal, and general, mayhem by doing eyelashes at 70 mph?

actually the girls had no say in the foot binding. in the upper class Chinese small feet on women and girls were viewed as being sexy and their feet were broken and bound from early infancy.Buddha had nothing to do with it and the practice predates Buddhaism.
