Its difficult to tell if its an actual contraction (they feel different for everyone) but your body is definitely getting ready. In the final weeks the tendons inside start stretching, causing sharp or throbbing pains.
The baby also starts to drop or engage, which REALLY makes the bladder feel squished and uncomfortable.
All normal stuff. I assume you are now doing weekly appt's, so talk it over with the doc. Your cervix may be thinning or dilating, which can also cause funny pains/feelings.

Well - your pulled muscle feeling could be a very strained or pulled muscle...that does happen to your abs when they get this stretched.
Since you felt a sharp pain and then you lost your mucus plug - you were probably feeling a bit of dilation.
Most women don't even notice it...but my sister had exactly your experience. She'd just been checked the day before - no dilation yet, and started having sharp pains like that, and started losing her mucus plug - she was concerned, as it was her first...so she went back in to the doc a day or so later - she was 2 cm - and then stayed that way for almost 4 more weeks. :)
With the extreme feeling of need to pee, this likely means your baby has dropped, and the head is nicely compressing your bladder (it's a lovely feeling, I know! :))
Sounds like you're just well on your way to labour - if you've got any doubts or concerns, don't hesitate to call your OB.

I had hemorrhoids problems for different years. I was basically simply excessively embarrassed to go to a doctor or to the pharmacy to request a hemorrhoid treatment. At last I went to a doctor that tried to do everything in her power to help me, yet unfortunately the prescription didn't work. Surgery was impossible! By then, I was powerless, embarrassed and with just about no social life, so I've chosen to try something else. Then I discovered this method: http://treathemorrhoid.kyma.info I purchased this book on the most proficient method to dispose of hemorrhoids naturally notice it helped me a great deal! I don't feel torment anymore! I wish I had it years before. I can't accept how rapidly I got relief (just about overnight!) they've never returned and I don't worry about it anymore in light of the fact that on the off chance that they do, I know precisely what to do. After reading the book and making a move in 48 hours the ache, irritation, tingling and draining was gone. To my surprise I could permanently cure my hemorrhoids 100% naturally. Hemorrhoids are fundamentally engorged veins. The veins return the blood to the heart and those from the lower parts of the body work against gravity to push blood again to the heart. At the point when the blood becomes thicker because of one's absence of water admission, the blood gets pooled in the veins in light of the fact that blood is more hard to stream. This makes them get engorged and become bigger. On the off chance that this happens in the rectal area, it becomes hemorrhoids. I can assure you that I tackled my hemorroids problems with this system: http://treathemorrhoid.kyma.info It's definitly the most ideal approach to effectively dispose of hemorreoids.

Pinched nerves in your back can give you pain there as well for they often send the pains around the body on the nerves to be pains in the sides or front of your body. It's called a referred pain. Pinched nerves tighten up the muscles around them to trap them into that pain. Because the pain is coming from the back you wouldn't be able to press on the source to cause more pain. To get rid of this pain you have to free up your back muscles to release the nerve and here's how to free them up: Back: (do from a sitting position) Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side. For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

Again I say it may be the ligament pains. I have been getting them everyday now and im only 21 weeks. My doc had me go to the birth center and they hooked me up to the machines, no contractions-just those darn pains!! I know they are miserable and the pain tends to go down my leg as well! I also break out in sweats and just try to breath through them, but it hurts to move at all!!! Hang in there and maybe you are close to labor!! Congrats!

Sounds like if its not contractions is pulling tendons and the pressure of the baby in the birth canal. Your cervix is obviously changing since you're losing parts of your plug. You can also have vaginal hemorrhoids, they hurt very very badly.
I felt just like you at this stage of pregnancy, but i went until 3 days short of 40 weeks.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/VM1MU
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.
