War has been declared on Christians, Jews, non-Muslims and secularists worldwide by Islamic extremists...simply because we are infidels according to their belief. As Islamic fundamentalism spreads its tentacles worldwide, it is crucial for the people of the Western world to understand the danger, know what to expect, and know what to do about it.

Threats and realities of forced conversions to Islam, beheadings, torture and murder are quickly becoming commonplace. They’re rarely mentioned in the news and when they are, it’s with a disclaimer…the word “insurgent” has replaced the truth of “terrorists.”

aaronesq... - Your opening statement speaks volumes... That is like saying you are capitalist communist... It makes anything else you write very hard to take seriously.

aaronesq... I did go ahead and read the rest of it. You write, "Limbaugh and co. want conservatives to believe that all liberals feel sorry for Islamic radicals. Straw man argument." - No, we know that it's not all liberals but, the fact that ANY of them do speaks volumes of the potential. Birds of a feather flock together.

fpmc@ver... what you don't get is that is precisely what they have wanted to do since Mohammad told them to do so (invade). Just like they did in Europe and the Middle East... They have a WELL DOCUMENTED history of spreading Islam by the bloody sword and they are at it again.

Yes, political correctness is hurting American society. People are afraid to say what they really think on certain issues, because they're afraid that they might offend someone. It's preventing us from have serious discussions on a lot of important issues facing our country. Issues like terrorism, illegal immigration, race relations, violent crime, abortion, gun control etc. Political correctness is just the liberal form of censorship.

Political Correctness is the Conservative way of censoring free speech and bullying Americans into thinking like Conservatives. Look at what the GOP and Conservatives have done to Sesame Street and other kids' shows, and look how Conservatives have literally murdered Christmas by bullying people into saying "Happy Holidays". We can no longer go the Liberal route-which is exercising our right to free speech. No,the Cons have taken away our rights to free speech and are punishing us for trying to have rights. While the Liberals keep fighting to protect America, the Cons keep slamming their iron fists into our faces and forcing us to be politically correct 24/7.

I think of racial profiling all the time and believe it's alive and well. As a constant visitor to South America I hardly have to mutter a word to US customs or border patrol. At the ports of entry or highway stops, they simply look at my lily white face and motion for me to pass. Frankly, I think it's a smart policy. I also think they know what they're doing. I would call it subliminal racial profiling. I also see them questioning people with a non-American look who, turn out to be nothing but true blue U.S. Citizens. I wonder what they think and hope they understand. For me, it's just another phrase (Politically Correct) when it comes to customs and border services. Just because they say so, doesn't make it true. In your comment, you mentioned muslim-islamist (Muslim - Islam) murder people in every non-Muslim country. That's wrong! fanatical islam kills Muslims and non - Muslims in every country in the world.

Well, I guess we could use for a model how the world stopped the spread of extreme Christian fundamentalism, the features of which included war, torture, forced conversions, and the ever-popular stealing of kids from their parents to force them into boarding schools where they were denied their culture, language, and routinely tortured or chained to walls and denied food until they would accept Jesus Christ.

Boarding schools are less commonplace today, but we still have missionaries going to starving communities to hand out food....if the person will accept Jesus. What's that if it's not a forced conversion? I'm not saying Islamic fundamentalists are any better, don't get me wrong. Some minority sects out there do some terrible, awful things. But the majority of Muslims are very peaceful, good people that would never perpetrate these acts. The majority of Christians are too. What do you suggest we do - we've proven it's not possible to isolate and root out the terrorists, and we've already destroyed the infastructure of one country that was not at war with us, with what results?

Edit: I want to say that political correctness came about for a good reason. Anyone who hasn't studied linguistics probably doesn't realize how language shapes your worldview. People started being PC in an attempt to weed out some of the racist assumptions ingrained into the English language. I will absolutely agree that it has gone too far in a lot of cases. But you don't want to go back to 1776 - we've come strides since then as far as equality and recognizing validity of cultures. I recognize the validity of Islam to exist as a religion. When it becomes a human rights question, with torture and killings, then it is no longer even a question of religion. It is a concern for the world community, because no one should be allowed to treat people in such a way.

I think the concern of people who take offense at your kind of rhetoric is that you are lumping together Islam with the insurgents. People won't differentiate, they'll get nervous when a mosque gets built down the street, and start being racist toward anyone they see fitting the physical description of a Muslim.

I saw this in my own community - my friend's mother (from Lebanon as well) was in Wal-Mart with her family. She was wearing a hejab. Some guy came up and grabbed her arm and said some very rude things to her, including to get out of "our" country. He then threw her to the ground. Now what kind of coward assaults a woman in a store that hasn't done anything except wear the traditional dress of her religion? That's the danger. We're a diverse country, and people of all religions and all cultures have the right to be here, as long as they abide by the law.

I am a conservative liberal. The only thing I think the conservatives do better on is their exposure of Islam. Unfortunately, most of them like to expose Islam because they love Christianity, not because they love secularism.

When it comes to agnostics/atheist and other secularists who are fed up with political correctness concerning Islam and Christianity, I think you'll find plenty of liberals and conservatives in agreement. But this is not the story you see from the media. Limbaugh and co. want conservatives to believe that all liberals feel sorry for Islamic radicals. Straw man argument.

Yes it is. I am against political correctness in all its forms! If we were all politically correct in 1776 only the founding fathers would have had the guts to revolt and we would still be part of the British Empire!

Yes, Political correctness is killing us! Not just on the religious side of things. Look at how ILLEGAL aliens are now being called undocumented . . . ABORTION is Choice . . . Global warming is now being called Global Climate Change . . . I'm sorry, but society is teaching our children to be sissies.

Yes, political correctness is totally killing us! We are being censored because something we say, might hurt someones feelings. BUT, it's ok for people to bash Christianity. Now, THAT hurts MY feelings....maybe I should sue...(oh brother).
