Yup this last summer I was attacked in my own yard by my neighbors Pit bull and bit badly in the leg. My soul mate had to beat him off me with a shovel. Have scars on my leg to prove it. The dog was put down the next morning by my neighbor. He works to rescue abused animals and for the most part I support his efforts so he paid my hospital bills and I didn't sue him. He has done some wonderful work with these dogs but once in a while one comes along that just has to be destroyed. Sad but true. Human beings can do so much damage to these beautiful animals. I have two large German Shepperd's myself so I am not afraid of dogs at all but I keep my distance when faced with a strange dog that shows signs of aggression.

I have a deep-seeded fear of DOBERMANS because while I was waiting for the school bus 52 YEARS ago, my neighbor's dogs (5 of them) broke loose from their "pen" and attacked me at the bus stop... I had many stitches and STILL remember to this day the snarls and growls of those dogs as they were attacking me at 5 years old.... oh and back then, they didn't put dogs to sleep for viciously attacking people so every day after that, I had to stand at that bus stop and basically PRAY every day that it didn't happen again.

Yes, I was looking for an apartment to rent in the Bronx, and as soon as I entered the building the pitbull came out of nowhere, I want to cry, run, fly, but all of the sudden the drug and dog owner came out and help me, I DIDN't rent anything there.

Yes!Not really corned, but,I walked down a dark alley at night, and two dogs stopped and barked right at me viciously! They would come toward me,so,I didn't move, then,I moved slowly, and didn't look at them.My place was right around the corner, but I made not attacked! It kind of scared me,but, first you must not look them in the eye,and don't move ,or,move slowly, and don't be too afraid, and they leave you alone.

Most days at work!
Their owners bring into the vets and say
"oh Fluffy's lovely wouldn't hurt a fly"
Liars!!!
Can't count the number of times a dog has tried to have a go, you just have to get it in a head lock, then you should be safe!
It's just scary when they start throwing themselves around because you daren't let go of the head, because if you do..........well that's it your toast!!

Yes, when I was 6 we bought and moved into this house; I was outside riding my bicycle, when these 2 very large dobermans from next door came charging toward me and just stopped and were standing there growling at me and showing me their teeth. I screamed for my mom and she came outside and yelled at them and they ran off. Then she told the owner of the dogs that if it happened again, she would shoot them.

Yes but I know how to counter it. The man that did the waking buys the man that was barking a drink. The man that was barking drinks it while listening to proposition buy the man that did the waking.
