I just got an ouija board now what?

Question

Any advice on what time/setting to use it in and any advice on what to do with it/how to use it safely is greatly appriciated, comments as well =]

Never use a real ouija board.
This is how we do our "homemade" astral connection.
I buy parchment paper and write each letter of the alphabet and cut them out in squares. I also write yes or no on 2 squares and numbers the same way.
I cleanse my area with sage and say a prayer. I light white candles one north, south, east, west and put them on the floor around the table. I get a clear goblet or tumbler and put it in the middle of the table. Lights on or off doesn't matter it is just effect for others. Ask your deity to protect you on your journey for answers and the ability to help the spirits and put them at peace and eternal rest. Turn the glass upside down and everyone put their finger on the bottom of the glass lightly. Then ask your questions and always say please, thank you, ect. Manners are manners no matter here or on another dimension.
When you are finished remember to say thank you to the spirits you contacted and tell the to go in peace and be blessed. Say thank you to the elements of the 4 directions earth wind fire water (North South East West) as you snuff out each candle and pick them up as you say to each. Collect your paper in alphabetic order and the numbers the same and make sure the numbers are under the stack of the alphabet. Then the yes and no. Take them off your property and bury them with salt and say a blessing and a prayer of thanks as you cover them. Then go about cleansing your home afterwards. It may seem extreme but I do not want to welcome any unwanted demons or spirits in my home and that has always worked to keep them at peace. Manufactured products usually have been touched by hundreds of people at one time or the other. Each person that touches them can leave negative energy on it and it collects as time passes more people touch it while on the shelves. Unknowingly but they do.
Try doing this and you will be surpised what will come through. And what ever you are trying to find out I hope it brings you peace and peace to the spirit you are trying to contact.

You just got it? Well if you're wise you'll just get rid of it. I'm not in the mood to launch into a monologue here as to the dangers there is here as the other answerers before me have already made this clear.

At the end of the day, if you want to open a gateway to negative entities then keep that damned thing. I on the other hand will be praying for you tonight that nothing bad happens. There are right and wrong ways to contacting the other side and using the ouija board isn't just wrong but plain dangerous.

But, if you fail to listen to those that have given you sage advice in getting rid of a poor and dangerous investment then at the very least please, please say a prayer of protection.

There are so many negative rumors around about Ouija boards I'm not real sure why you'd want one... But regardless, make absolutely sure you cast a circle and ask whatever deity resonates with you for guidance and protection. That is the *only* way you can be sure that nothing unwanted comes through the door you're opening. And even then, it's still risky. Best of luck.

Mhhh. Dont Burn it. Keep your blood, animals or children away. Dont use it for fun. Dont make friends with it!!! Specially if said friends are incorporeal. Human spirits almost never use it for comunication since the ones that cross over are unreacheable and the ones who stay here are confused or Crazy(I mean it literally). Angels Never use it. Elementals rarely give a **** about what humans are feeling and Demos love it. Dont use it the risks are to high The underworld is like Las Vegas, The House always wins.

My sister and i were young when we got a ouija board. The following is no joke.

It was all fun and games at first, asking the board questions and getting answers. my hand never touched the pointer, neither did my sisters and it always moved.

When we first got it, whatever the heck moved the pointer told us its "name" was "helen." (spelled it out for us). It told us our dad's middle name and we had no clue what it was or that he even had one. we asked him if his middle name was _______ and hes looked so freaked out and said yes (his dad, our grandfather apparently could communicate with spirits and had unusual powers so i think my dad had an idea that we were doing something we were not supposed to)

over the next few weeks, our questions were no longer being answered, rather, we were getting unusual comments from our board, and it TOLD us to ask if it was AWAKE before asking questions. NO LIE. asked us to turn off the lights and light candles, asked us to hold a seance (forgive me if i spelled that wrong), which at the time we had no idea what it was. It asked us to release its spirit from the board or it would kill us.

pointer movements got violent to a point where our hands were no where near the damn thing and it was moving crazily over the board. we were spooked obviously, and we asked "helen" what was wrong.

the was no response, then after a few seconds it was as violent as EVER, and replied "i'm not helen."

We threw the board along with the pointer under the bed. no one touched it, looked at it or anything for at least a month. when we looked for it, it was NOWHERE TO BE FOUND, even the pointer. we asked out parents, they had no idea, never seen it before, never went under the bed or anything.

fast forward maybe 1 year or so, i was on the computer which we moved into the room we last put the pointer and the board and guess what? i found the pointer. how? it was next to my foot, when it so obviously wasnt there before. when i picked it up, my screen went blank and the computer made an eerie beeping noise i've never heard before and it kept getting louder and louder. i tried to shut it off and it didnt do anything just kept beeping. as soon as i dropped the pointer it stopped.

i threw that damn thing away. never talked about it to anyone until now because i tried to forget it.

store bought or not, ouija boards are evil and you shouldnt mess around with one. just my opinion. And i aggre with the other contributers, you have to say hello three times and make sure you say goodbye or you will have problems. One time we didnt say goodnight and both my sister and i had horrifying nightmares until we asked it to stop playing around with us.

Ouiji boards are controlled by EVIL Spirits. If you want to play with evil spirits then play. You are only playing with FIRE.

As we all know, playing with fire is just not safe. So, think of the Oiji board as the same thing. They are controlled by these Evil Spirits and if you have played on one of these boards and have had a bad experience this is the reason why. You are only welcoming these evil spirits into your home and this is the reason why they come.

So, why would any one want this to happen to them or their loved ones? They are controlled by these Evil Spirits and if you have played with one then you are only asking for big time trouble. I have not seen one post yet, that they have not had a bad experience with this Evil board.


By the triangle just being moved by an unbeliever as people is still not a safe thing to do if u do not understand this triangle, or the game. So, please warn that these boards only bring trouble. They will eventually figure out how to invite these evil spirits in. I hope that those of you who have been
afraid by what happened to you with playing with this Evil board, you know that it is from Evil Spirits.

So, do not play with this board that just invites trouble for you. If you want to get scared out of your wits, then by all means play, if you want to stay safe only invite the good spirits into your home. Prayer is a special way of inviting the good karma and good Spirits into your home.

So the caution here, is to just not buy or play with the ouiji board ever.

Make sure you close your session or whomever you contacted won't leave and that may cause you some problems. Do yourself a favor and take it back where you got it. Buy something more worthwhile that won't haunt you the rest of your life if things go wrong. Learn tarot if you want answers to things. My wife has a Christian tarot deck that is really cool and has provided me with positive answers to difficult things.
