I gave up a friend, because she wouldn't change the way she thinks. The issue was a important one. Just unacceptable.

Yes. My good reason was that I was choosing a different path in life. I did it when I was young and then, not having learned from it, I did it again just a few years ago.
My experiences have taught me not to burn my bridges. I hurt a lot of very good people with my free spirited lifestyle. Now I cry sometimes for what I have irrevocably lost.
Hope my answer was in the ballpark. I wasn't sure.

yes!!family,cause they weren't there when i needed them,and friends when they stopped having time for me!but i would never give up on a friend for a guy!

I was foolish enough to give up my drinking buddies for a woman who I thought loved me. After almost two years, I saw them again last week. It was great.

We once stopped seeing my husband's mother and her husband for a year and a half because of her poor treatment of our daughter who was only a year old.

yes friends when my sister died i went trhough a period and still am going through a period of deep depression and i shut off all relationships with my friends
