Yep, I have a turntable. I also have something really unusual. I have an 8 track tape Recorder. My wife had a 76 mustang with an 8 track and I used it to record her albums for play in the car.

Still have about 1000 albums as well. And some Sun records 45s.

I remember. My brother saved everything. I hate clutter. The only thing i kept is that small yellow center piece that was used for the 45's. I did sell a few of my albums, but held on to one Monkey album. Sold a Monkey comic book for $100.00. That was a bonus. My sister has the Adam12 comic book. She won't part with that. No i have not bought a new record player. Nice of you to bring a moment from the past out here for some of us.
Take care.

The first music that I listened to were my parents' albums because they both had record players, and my dad still has his. Also, my mum still has her 45s from when she was little.

I have a record player out in the garage. My dad gave me all his old records. Like the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Who, etc.. I need to go get some needles for it though. I like my record player, I should pull that thing out.
most of my records are 33's

still have some rock albums from the late 60's early 70's...don't have a turntable...worked in a restaurant with lots of young people, one day i brought the little plastic adapter piece you had to put in the hole of a 45 to work and had great fun having them try to figure out what it was...nobody under the age of 30 knew what it was

My girlfriend and I have one. About twice a month we just spend an evening listening to albums and eating take out. We have some really fun albums (live sex pistols recording, live simon and garfunkel, a few of the doors, etc. )

It is always a fun time and something to look forward to.

Still got an old record player, still got a stack of LPs, still got a stack of 45s - I'm a terrible hoarder!

Can't beat vinyl. My ex kept the 45's but got all my LPs (oldest is 1959 Buddy Holly, long-playing microgroove recording - in mono).

I still have 78's. They belonged to my great grandmother. And I have a turntable that I bought as part of a 1980's stereo system.

Yes, I have a turntable. And I do periodically listen to my old Linda Ronstadt or Carpenter albums on it!
