The ProJo Editorial has a lovely mellow tone somewhat similar to the musical cry of the Double-crested Cormorant. The Richmond Examiner Editorial, on the other hand has a higher-pitched, somewhat shrill tone, more like a 2-gallon copper kettle fitted with an adapter containing a metal clarinet reed.
