There are some very well qualified people on here, that's for sure.
I think especially in the hard subjects like physics, maths and engineering.
The unhelpful fruitcakes are often in astronomy, answering that the universe is infinite, of course there are aliens because the government has someheld captive at roswell and asking questions like 'did people really go to the moon?'
You can always get a 2nd opinion, or use a search engine regarding some of the things people talk about in their answers. Many even provide hyperlinks in their answers.
