You can get your make-up matched to your skin tone from Prescriptives.... I had a "match" done at Elizabeth Arden, at the time they had this little machine that matched skin/make-up shades.. Not sure if that's the usual technique... I've had good luck with Origins.. However, I'm older and I don't wear foundation all the time.. I use tinted moisturizer/concealer and sometimes a powder... I LOVE Physicians Formula Blush from the drug store.. It looks nice on everyone ! Bring the shade with you that you are trying to match.. If you can.. Good luck....

For basics like foundation and powder I my favorite brand is Almay. The products are not thick, but light and breatheable. My favorite product is the almay- true blend foundation. It starts off white and then adjusts to your skin tone for the perfect color. I use it all the time and it works amazingly!
For makeup accents like eyeliner, blush, and mascara I use Maxx-factor and Rimmel. All three brands have a wide selection of shades.
Good luck!

If you are lucky enough to have a Bare Ecentuals store in your area, I would check that out. They have awesome makeup that's minerals and all pure and natural. Their eye makeup is a little messy, but I mainly use the foundation. Also, MAC has a great line of cosmetics.
If you are looking for drug store type cosmetics, I prefer L'oreal. They have a true match foundation that blends very well. Also, Almay has a foundation that supposedly is white and blends right into your skin tone. You should try that out too..

My favourite brand is Rimmel. But i find that there isn't a best brand, you have to find which products suit you best, whether it's all in the same range or to suit your price range.

I only stick with Covergirl. Their mascaras and eyeliners are great. Their foundations cover everything, and they don't feel heavy at all! You should try it. Of course everyone is different, and different products work on different people.

Clinique is really good. As you are young, try almost makeup tinted moisturiser that wont be too heavy on your skin.
