I cant remember how to do molarity questions. basically we have IAA, whose formula weight is 186, and we need to find how many grams of it would take to prepare 500mL of a .5M solution. Thanks!

0.5 M solution = x mole IAA/ 0.5 L... solve for x, you get 0.25 mole of IAA is required... since the molecular weight of IAA = 186 g/mole... 0.25 moleIAA * 186gIAA/1 moleIAA, you get 46.5 g....thats your answer

1L of 1M solution IAA requires 186 grams,
500 mL1M requires 186/2 = 93 grams.
500 mL .5M requires 93/2 = 46.5 grams IAA. [answer].

M=mol/L

500mL=.500L
.5M=xmol/.500L

.25mol(186g/mol)=46.5g IAA

I not often positioned on any or have any yet to each and each his own, i like to be undeniable through fact it feels greater soft to me. If somebody likes something else it is his/her determination. as quickly as I see such transformations in hair, clothing, makeup and rings recently it makes me think of persons are each and every so often asserting "i do no longer care what everyone else thinks given which you may desire to no longer decide me via the way i glance" or in different words "you don't be attentive to me" and each so often it relatively isn't any longer undemanding to look previous all that stuff that incredibly shouldn't count and get to be attentive to those people. i think of each and every so often they suspect that people who can no longer look previous appearances are people they do no longer prefer to be attentive to them besides, even though each and every so often i think of which could be form of a opposite discrimination on their area.
