What I want in a politician?
Honesty
-none this "I'm a country boy, I'm middle class, I understand
you, I'll fight for you, etc." BS
Faithfulness to their constituents' wishes.
-not special interest and front groups
Humility
-Someone able to take on power while not becoming obsessed with it.
Brains
-someone who can learn from the past and who knows can formulate a plan to help the nation/state/whatever that they are entrusted with representing. Also, experience in the real world.
Unfettered
-someone who isn't tied to party affiliation, which negatively affects their representative duties by subordinating constituent's desires to those of a nation wide group of rich snobs, ie any party loyalty is a bad thing in my view.
