I am!
Stupidity is like winter. You may hate it, and get tired of it, but we need it to appreciate the spring and summer. The wealth of stupidity in politics makes those brilliant people all the more special.

I am, and I'm not on YA very much because of it. About one question out of 50 is worth answering.
I've seen some brilliant answers in the politics section, which went unappreciated, and the person invested a lot of time in them. Some of these individuals seem to be gone. They probably got fed up and went looking for a more intelligent forum of discussion.

The people who are tired of the stupidity are just what is needed in Politics. All of you would bring a fresh look at the Political debates. They are debates, you know, because at the end of the day, we are all Americans, and all want what is best for our country.
Pink, I think I misunderstood one of your posts and got after you a bit. You are right. That was stupidity. I just didn't read it right, was in a hurry, and misinterpreted what you said. I read it again later and lost some sleep over that silly reply I gave. Even so, there was no excuse for my rudeness and I apologize.

Yeah, its easy to get disgusted with all of the drama over there. I asked a question about conservatives yesterday & some guy attacked me versus answering the question.
YA was fun when I first started - but now it seems as if there are people out there hell bent on causing unnecessary drama. How unfortunate. That's why I try to limit my responses in the politics section to people in my contacts.

No that is why I have started to go back to how I originally answered questions in the Politics section, with non-sense and gibberish. I am only following protocal anyways.
However I am trying to stay out of politics.
Earnest T is the reason why, not the entire reason, but people like him.
Edit: Pink only in the politics section. GO Tribe!

Yes but I don't think debates and discussions on politics is stupid. It shouldn't be taken seriously in this venue for many reasons. For me, it's just another forum to blow off steam and vent frustration with our current system. I get annoyed more by the people that either don't realize that problems exist, buy into the administration's propaganda and outright lies, or don't want to deal with the problems in anyway. That is bothersome because it suggests a larger problem;apathy.

I agree with who cares. There are the same inflaming troll questions day after day. I usually scroll through and about one out of twenty give the opportunity for an intelligent reply. It takes a lot of self control to not answer some of the troll questions.

The religion section is just as bad as the politics section which is why I spend a lot of time over here in Polls and Surveys.

Oh yeah. No need to worry about a stupidity shortage on the Y!A politics forum. There's definitely an overabundance.

Well, the troll are getting more obnoxious and ignorant. I usually have to weed through all the non-sense to find a good question to answer. It's a shame. Despite that, I am a political junkie. I like politics.
