The Spin Doctors were kind of a jazzy rock band, too intellectual for some dance-crazed and head-banging music lovers to settle down and enjoy. I liked the songs mentioned above, plus "Cleopatra's Cat". My son loves "What Time Is It?", he's 8.
Ironically, the band began to split apart when their original bass player got fired for not being able to "play like he's trying to get some" on the song "Big Fat Funky Booty". Truth is sometimes stranger than fiction.

the choice of what group you like is personal and completely subjective. The choice of what music you like and which groups perform your preferance is entirely up to you and not up to your friends. You make the choice. There is no "BUT". What other people like or dislike should have no influence on your choices. Some people like chocolate ice cream - But not everyone. Does that mean you cannot enjoy Chocolate ice cream?

They are still around? I didnt even think they were still together.. But I dont hate them, actually I found there music pretty entertaining when they were popular.

I don't know about their newer stuff but "Two Princes" was a great song...and so was "Pocket Full of Kyrptonite" they rule!
