i am from malaysia.
Not many ppl actually go to gym. In usa most teens goes to gym everyday.
There are not many bodybuilding contest.
There is not even a bodybuilding website of malaysia.
Why does this situatuion happen?

I think people in Malaysia don't really care about their fitness.
Not all people have the muscle that can grow so well.

as a malaysian, i can tell you why.
its not true that we dont care about fitness, most do
but it is also true that we are so busy with putting bread on the table. and people do go to gym, just cant be bothered to build up bulky muscles which are probably good for nothing anyway.
wait until you grow ten years older and still living in malaysia, you will come to see why.

Because they are not transfixed on size and strength. Even their martial arts are derived from speed and striking ( they use a form of stick fighting ). And because their body structures simply do not support massive muscle development over sinew and speed.

I think you just answered their question. They are a very, very poor country, no money to build a rec center, or even get food. People have very poor health there.
