Thats what a contract is, you promise to pay for 1 or 2 years. Why did you choose that provider and what about them sucks?

I think alltel lets you back out of your contract at anytime. Otherwise, you can get another provider but you still need to continue paying for the contract.

Find a friend who lives somewhere where they don't get service with the company. (reception) Get online and have some junk mail mailed to their address in your name to use as proof of address. You may also have to get your bill sent to that address, so make sure it's a close friend or relative. Tell them you just moved their and there is no way to use their services out there. They couldn't offer you any deals to stay with them if you cant use it anyway.

Is it Suncom by any chance? Because that's what I have and it sucks very badly.
