A few days ago one of my co-workers that I have been working with for 6 months asked my for a favor. The favor was for me to follow her to drop off her car and give her a ride back well the place was like 45 minutes away from our job. First of all she gets in the car doesn't even say thank you, then on our way back to our job my gas light goes on I tell her "oh god I need gas we better stop somewhere". She just tells me were I could go and doesn't even offer a dime. My issue is not the money but the fact that I didn't even get a "thank you".

Of course it was rude...thanking you was the least she could have done. Consider yourself the bigger and better person, don't say anything, but don't do any more "favors" for her.

Jewel this was very rude of this co-worker. Maybe there are other things going on in her life at the present that you are not aware of that she has her mind on rather then her manners. Or maybe she is just a user and an ungrateful S.O.B.. I would be careful about befriending this lady as there is a strong possibility that you may end up on the losing end of the stick many more times if indeed she is a user. Best of luck and be proud that you tried to help another out, even though it appeared they were ungrateful.

Yes, that was rude of her. And she should have offered you gas money before you even did the favor for her since it was so far away. I wouldn't do anything for her again.

Now you know never to do it again when she asks you. She could of offered up gas or something to you. Thank you goes along way and some people just don't give a s**t! Let her know that she could of said T.Y. and that doesn't cost a thing!

Yes that's very rude of her. Next time she asks the same favor, just make excuses. It's really annoying when people don't know how to say 'thank you' or 'excuse me' or 'sorry'

Very rude. You should never take favors frm people like that. Simple etiquette. She acted like an uneducated person.

Rude. She should have thanked you for your time and trouble, plus paid for the gas.
