Wow, cool question. Well if by "us" you mean everyone in R&S, then yes, there are plenty of things about me that would frighten some of the people here, namely fundies. I like to do things that feel good. That is pretty much frightening to any fundie.

edit> Oops, I'm stupid. I didn't realize this was in P&S, although I should have, because it isn't an R&S-related question. Wow, I guess what might frighten some people about me, then, is that I'm a total ditz sometimes!

Almost any side of me would frighten a majority of you. And if you really want a scare, I'll take off my clothes! LOL

Everyone has a dark side. Mine is probably less frightening than most.

Unfortunately yes and She frightens me. She's the one who takes over when I'm too angry or scared for words and then all I see is red. I've come back to myself holding a machete in my hand out on a city street because someone raised his hand to me in anger. There've been other times. Frighten *some of us*? Not Her. Frighten most of us.

Imagine me in a purple suit, with a hairnet, horned rimmed glasses standing behind a pulpit preaching on hellfire and brimstone....

That was my old self before I realized that you don't win anyone over to the Lord by preaching like Dana Garvey's "The Church Lady" (a la Saturday Night Live).

Well, probably.

My family and friends tell me that when I get angry enough, I seem to have an innate sense of what will puncture someone's self-image, and use my words like a stiletto, stabbing them exactly there.

I try to walk away from heated arguments before it reaches that point.

Absolutely
but I think it's at least partly because most people ignore that side in *themselves*, as opposed to learning how to deal with it.
