So, I've been doing some research on prices in Norway, and I have found prices in Oslo make me want to faint. I was wondering what the prices are outside of Oslo. Are they less painful for food, hotels, etc? Is it possible to stay in a small hotel, or bed and breakfast type place for cheap in small towns?

I found the prices in the rest of Norway not much cheaper than in Oslo, and the farther you get from the coast and the highways the higher the prices for fruit and vegetables get. Which makes eating out and self catering expensive too.
There will be some places where they ask less for a bed, but the prices are high, and the difference will not make them cheap.

The rest of Scandinavia is also not cheap, no way.
And alcohol is extremely expensive in all Scandinavia.

Norway is one of the most expensive countries in the world. I guess you can find cheaper hotels in small towns, but the prices are even there higher than in other European countries. (P.S. Norway is a very beautiful country, really worth a visit.)
