Maybe try the second hand stores or even the salvation army store. Should be reasonable on the prices. Or do you have any friends that still might have left over costumes that their children wore last year? Don't forget about the Traditional ghost. All you need is an old sheet and a pair of scissors. Maybe the children have some old clothes that you could put patches on and with a bandanna and make them ho-bo's. Don't forget the stick ( not cost) with the fake food tied with the bandanna or white hankey. Don't fret too much about it. The children will have a good time no matter what they go as anyway. It's all about the candy right. They'll receive the same amount no matter how their dressed. Happy Halloween!!

Well, one year I went as Death with Chucky. If you have a child (or have a friend with a twisted sense of humor with her/his child) who's about a year old the child can be dressed up as Chucky (from Child's Play) and all you need is a white hooded robe (a plain sheet fashioned will work as well) and black makeup for your eyes and mouth. Make certain that you also use white makeup to create the ghoulish appearance. Have fun.

Aah bless ya.....go as a ghost, white sheet wiv holes cut into it, failing that make a witches outfit out of black sacks and dress it up with some of your own accessories....

my girlfriend dressed up as a trashbag with her best friend. All you have to do is get a trash bag and cut out a whole on the top of the head and then cut out arm holes. Then they put on a silver belt around there waist and my girlfriend straigtened her hair and put on some CUTE silver shoes!

Cat Burglar = Black pants, black shoes, black top and a small eye mask (card board), and a chain around her neck down to her belly button. Make the "chain out of aluminum foil!
