I think it's a good idea. But I don't think it will solve anything. For those people with multiple ID's - they can log on with that ID for the sole purpose of trolling. But it would be nice to have some accountability. Because it's one thing to disagree with a persons response - and it's something totally different when people are doing it for the sole purpose of being malicious.
UPDATE: I totally agree with Ray E - categorizing the thumbs would be a great idea. So that lets the answerer know why exactly they were thumb downed. THUMBS UP - RAY E!! :D

No, some people would probably use it to get even. I would like to be able to change those I leave, sometimes I leave the wrong one by mistake.
They could add categories to them. Maybe things like rude, wrong, offensive, right on . . .
