I rather, NL is more strategy you don't have to worry about hiting a home run, you can easyly tip the ball and allows other players to run to the bases and back home quickley, i always love small ball is more style and you just score run and get on base and don't forget the Colorado Rockies team make a different thats why i ratter the nl better and i love the 49(forty niners).

It's just a matter of taste, but I prefer the American League. I don't want to see a pitcher hit, any more than I want to see Derek Jeter pitch. I also like the AL because I don't like the almost-automatic outs involved with having pitchers bat in the NL. I know there are some decent-hitting pitchers, but 90% will never crack the .180 mark.
I also don't believe that the NL really offers more strategy than the American League. With the pitcher batting, your only choices are really to bunt a runner over, pinch hit for him, or have him swing. I think the "strategy" aspect is overdone. In the AL, there's much more involved with pitching strategy because you don't get that easy out at the bottom of the order.
Again, it's just opinion. I know a lot of people prefer the "smallball" style, but that's not for me. The objective of this game is to score runs, and that's better done by getting on base and driving in runners, which is best accomplished with a high slugging percentage.

NL is better. A DH is just an excuse to play a fat guy with no skills at fielding (Jason Giambi) in the game. NL teams move runners over, bunt, and play real baseball. AL teams just hit home runs which is so boring.

NL ball is far more exciting. As most have said, the DH takes away from strategy. To Craig S., you said there isn't much strategy to it at all, but I beg to differ. You can't just pinch hit for the pitcher any ol' time. On average, a starting pitcher will last anywhere from 5-7 innings. During this time, he has to bat and depending on what the situation is, you have to figure out how you'll utilize him during his at-bat. If his spot is coming up in the 7th or 8th inning, your team is down by 1 run, but he's pitching a phenomenal game and your bullpen isn't great, do you pull him to try to get another run or do you keep him in to finish what he started and hope the leadoff guy gets it done. There's plenty of strategy to it. In the AL, all you need is to find you one big guy like Ortiz or Bonds and never sweat the bottom of the line up cause you've got a guy who can blast homeruns every at-bat and sit his *** on the bench the rest of the game. Where's the fun in that?

I'm a Yankee fan who hates the DH. It take so much away from the game. Like you, I enjoy "small ball". Let the managers earn their money.
Can you imagine Jimmy Rollins running wild in the AL? They wouldn't know what to do with him!
I'm not so sure that inner league play is such a great idea either. It was okay in the beginning. I think everyone wanted to see something new. But as time goes on I think the novelty has worn off.

Baseball (or any american sport, for that matter) is more entertainment than pure sport. In that respect, it has to be AL. Plus it has the greatest rivalry in baseball.
But for purist, I agree, the small ball of NL is more appealing.
But look at what has happened to the game of cricket. The long 5 day version of the game is steadily losing popularity against shorter (50 overs and now 20 overs) versions of the game.

NL is a far superior league. I would rather watch a pitcher hit or have the manager figure out when to pull a pitcher in a close game.

My emotional favorite teams are in the AL.
Only the NL plays real baseball, though.

I prefer NL. With no DH there is more strategy, more mangerial skills needed. With the DH in the AL it seems they all just play long ball with very little intrigue and strategy.
