You should speak with some other people who clean houses. My mom has been doing it for 20+ years. She charges a lot more than $12-15 an hour. More like $40. It depends on whether you're doing it alone or having someone help you. Also whether you use your own supplies or the homeowner's.

contained in the paper no longer some time previous, there turned right into a tale about molly maid expenses, the charge become $60.00 in conserving with hour. i might want to charge about a minimum of by technique of the room and would charge 20-25 funds a room. Small rooms 15$ and massive rooms 20--25$

Depends on who provides the materials. By the hour - at least $15 up to about $35.00 depending on where you are and how difficult the task. If you have to provide materials then you should add a fixed fee - say $10.00 onto the total of hourly rate. 5 Hours @10 would be 50. then add 10 more for materials.
If THEY supply the goodies then U have no worry.

never take a job without first looking at how messy it is somepeople are filthy. give a different quote depending on what they want, just general like vaccuum and make beds and clean dishes and dust and deluxe like window cleaning and bathroom tiles and ironing etc. what you do is very valuable and if there are any retirement areas you should post in them also, post notices of maid for hire in government buildings like dss where they work long hours. you can make a good living but dont sell yourself short.

If you are new to this business, start at about $12 per hour and increase as you get better at it. When you get good, then $20 / hour may be a good price point.
