Yes, sperm can live up to 5 days. You probably will never know 100% w/o paternity testing.

Sperm is usually viable for up to 3 days...maybe 5 in excellent conditions so theres a small chance it was the one night stand but more likely that your husband fathered it. The right thing to do is to come clean with husband now. How hurtful would it be to get the hubby all excited about becoming a father to find out that it wasn't his after birth? Cheating is horrible but letting him believe and look forward to the birth of this baby when u don't know for sure its his is really low. Don't think you can hide this secret because it will come back to bite you...HARD if you try. Do the right thing and don't cheat again.

You really should start praying. It's most likely your husband's but there is a possibility that it's the guy you cheated with. Only way to know is to get a DNA test after the baby is born. I'm not going to try to judge you but why did you cheat on your husband? Are you missing something at home? I hope that you learned your lesson from this and don't cheat again. You're hurting yourself and your husband. Because of your mistake, you could lose you marriage. Was it worth it?

Do you know this mans sexual history, as having unprotected intercourse means that you are exposing yourself, your husband and your baby to lots of potential sexually transmitted diseases . Think back to the time you had intercourse did you have any cervical mucus at all ? If not then the chances are that the sperm if there was any did not survive for more than a few hours as it needs the cervical mucus to nourish it. The only sure way to find out whose baby it is is to have a DNA test. You have to decide if you want to do that and if you don't , can you live with this secret for the rest of your life without it destroying you and your relationship with your husband?I wish you good luck for the future.

I have heard sperm can survive for up to five days inside of you. The law of average says its your husbands baby BUT i am afraid there is a possibility it could have been the one night stand. This is something you may have to live with forever - that is not knowing. So its up to you - come clean with your husband and do some DNA testing or just leave it be. At the end of the day you have a precious life inside of you so take care of yourself and best of luck with everything.

The date of conception can be off a much as two weeks in either direction, and yes, sperm can be viable in the body for days. It sounds very likely that it is your husband is the father, but there is no way to know without genetic testing.

I have read the sperm stays inside for 5 days, no more than that. Pray it's your husband's...and just get out of that relationship if you're not happy. Don't hurt your husband, it's not fair for you or the kid on the way. Please don't have an abortion either!!! you have to have this baby and get a DNA test when the baby is born so you know for sure who is the father.
Good luck.

What a predicament.I think it will do you best to come clean to both your husband and the man you slept with behind his back. The guilt is going to get the better of you either way.

Ive heard that sperm can stay alive for up to 7 days in the body.so there is a chance it could be either. The only other option is to get a paternity test when the baby is born.

I imagine you are scared and confused now as if you don't have DNA tests done you will always doubt who is the real father! You didn't do a nice thing to your husband and you showed you are an immature person having sex with someone without using protection! I'm sure you have learnt the lesson now and you will stop cheating from now on!

I am the result of the exact same situation you are in. I was told when I was 18 that who I thought was my father, PROBABLY wasn't. Let me tell you it is a horrible way to feel...........I still don't know to this day who the biological father really is. I don't understand how it didn't drive my mother crazy....not really knowing for sure. Seriously, you will not know unless a DNA test is done....calculating is simply calculating and you are only desperately hoping for the best result. You need to figure this out now and not put other people through hell for your mistake...you say you aren't a cheater, but unfortunately you are or it wouldn never have happened.

I'm afraid it could be either man, you poor thing, what a terrible situation to be in. If your planning to keep the baby I would do a DNA test when the baby is born, you don't need to tell you husband you could get his DNA without him knowing, wishing you all the best x
